DICIANNOVESIMA GIORNATA DEL CONTEMPORANEO
12 October 2024

On Saturday 12 October 2024, MACRO – Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome takes part in the 20th Giornata del Contemporaneo (Contemporary Art Day), a major event organized by AMACI, the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums, with the support of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, and the collaboration of the Directorate-General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

For the occasion the entrance to the exhibition Post Scriptum. A museum forgotten by heart will be free of charge from 10 am to 7 pm.

From 5 pm to 6.30 pm, the Department for Preventive Education with “Senza titolo” offers a free guided tour for adults and children to discover Yard by Allan Kaprow. The visit will offer an active and participatory exploration, highlighting the relationship between the body and the work of art through a multi-sensory approach that privileges perception and interaction.
