Hyperacustica (Mira Vivian, Leonardo Metz), oss:ton
listening session
8 September 2024, 9 pm – 10.30 pm, terrace
#Sonata #Supplement

Mira Vivian and Leonardo Metz, residents of the Hyperacustica collective join forces for a musical selection: oss:ton is the anagram of the Greek word nostos, which among other meanings recalls homecoming, but also the recovery of identity, roots and connections with one’s past. The listening session will evoke the aggregating function of ritual, with ambient and deconstructed sounds in which rhythm and repetition are lost in a harmonic amalgam that reflects the connection between individuals.

GO BACK TO THE PROGRAM

MIRA VIVIAN is a Roman electronic musician who combines sounds from bass music with meticulous sound design, expanding the boundaries of club music.

LEONARDO ARNEIS METZ is an Italian-German electronic musician. Founder of the label Malditerra Records, he draws influence from his home territory to shape metallic sounds and bony rhythms, recreating a rural sonic world.

HYPERACUSTICA is a project initiated by a collective of electronic musicians belonging to different entities (Malditerra Records, PYTECA, XCIV), with the aim of filling a gap in Roman music programming. The format seeks to deconstruct the boundary between a dance floor oriented vision and electronic listening. Hyperacustica aims to be a listening space that reflects the dynamism of Mediterranean nightlife.
