In a decadent small town in the Cuban countryside, Alex and Edith, a young couple in their 30s, live their relationship made up of small gestures and a tender routine. Milagros, an elderly lady, spends her days listening to the radio and reading old letters. Frank and Alain, two inseparable children of nine-year-old, go to school and dream of becoming professional baseball players in the USA.The three narratives flow and touch, while the specter of separation – authentic plague of Cuban contemporaneity – hovers over each of them.
