JESPER LIST THOMSEN
FREEEee
Lecture performance
#In-Design
On the opening night of Deep Publishing, an exhibition by Åbäke, the IN-DESIGN section will act as a stage for FREEEee, a lecture performance by artist and writer Jesper List Thomsen.
Part folksong part lecture, FREEEee is a text that probes the parameters of corporeal and intellectual deliberation, of essayistic logic and poetic neglect, via a series of encounters with current and deceased thinkers.
Each confronting the project of dismantling identity, these meetings engender List Thomsen’s text to produce a work (and a reading) that uses language, voice, and the pictorial bodily impact of writing as a means to move through visual culture.
