In this interview for the MEET THE ARTIST series, Chiara Enzo talks about her work for RETROFUTURE, the collection of works by young Italian artists.
Senza titolo (Distesa) is a painting on paper that depicts a portion of an unmade bed through “detail painting”. Her process, dilated in time, uses enlargement as a tool to generate ambiguous and difficult-to-identify images. The proximity and the dim light hinder the immediate identification of the object and transform it into a moonscape.
