Echoing the exhibition of the work of Patrizia Vicinelli in the ARRHYTHMICS section, Alex Balgiu and Mónica de la Torre will share in the following weeks some excerpts from the research material of the anthology Women in Concrete Poetry: 1959-79 (Primary Information, 2020), edited by them. The publication includes also an insight on Vicinelli work.

While the publication offers a distinct focus on each poem as well as a common field for reading them together, the following series will shed light on a different facet of the collection by gathering views of the source documents, before reproduction and layout formatting. This will make visible the physical qualities of each object (format, type of paper, printing, binding, ways of handling) as well as the status and context of each piece as a published and distributed work (whether it is part of a magazine, a book, a multiple, a zine or something else).
