MACRO for families – Enjoy a parallel visit to the Museum: guided tours for adults and workshops for kids.
With the collaboration of “SENZA TITOLO”
#Kids and families
From October to December the MACRO – Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome will offer to the public a new educational proposal designed for adults and children: families will actively explore the spaces and architectures of the Museum for Preventive Immagination, becoming more familiar with the work of contemporary artists and discovering sources, models and languages of contemporary art.
“MACRO for families” is a project that offers simultaneously guided tours for adults and workshops for children, allowing a customized access to the Museum’s collection: visits are designed accordingly to participants, differentiating cultural contents, narrative frameworks and communication strategies.
Every second Sunday of the month – from October to December, 16:00-17:30 – the public is invited to freely join the activities in program, and experience the Museum as an open space for creativity, experimentation and contamination.
Workshops for children follow an interdisciplinary approach, connecting the artworks both to their historical, artistic and cultural backgrounds and to the context of the Museum, in order to create an open dialogue on contemporary art. Workshops are designed to enhance autonomous thinking skills in the framework of a “learning by doing” methodology. Children will receive a didactic kit, with graphic maps and selected materials.
Activities are carried out by professional museum educators and art historians.
Visits are free and limited to the number of 15 participants per group. Reservation is required, by writing at info@senzatitolo.net.
Activities are free for adults and children, and will take place in respect of Covid-19-related health and safety measures.
